1 I Charlotte Frances Bona Fitzroy late of Grafton Regis in the County of Northampton and now of Yardley Gobion in the same County Widow hereby revoke all former Wills Codicils and Testamentary instruments heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will 2 I appoint my Nephew Vere Cholmondeley of Glazebrook South Brent in the County of Devon sole Executor of this my Will 3 I wish to be buried at Grafton Regis as near as possible to my late husband 4 I bequeath to the said Vere Cholmondeley my blue china dinner set and the sum of twenty pounds 5 I bequeath to Ida Cholmondeley Wife of the said Vere Cholmondeley my blue and gold enamel bracelet and gold filigree Bracelet 6 I bequeath to Harcourt Griffin of 43 Hans Mansions London my Oridized Silver Tea Caddy and the sum of twenty pounds 7 I bequeath to my Niece Charlotte Edith Barrow Ray Wife of Matthew Barrow Ray M.D. of 6 Ripon Road Harrogate my long gold chain 8 I bequeath to the said Matthew Barrow Ray my set of studs in a case 9 I bequeath to my Niece Caroline Marcia Ker Mahon Wife of George Ker Mahon of Balledonelan Castle Lochrea Ireland my set of Cameos 10 I bequeath to the said George Ker Mahon my set of gold links and set of gold studs 11 I bequeath to Mrs Frances Conolly Wife of Colonel Arthur now quartered at Walmer Deal the small thin volume bound in green of the History of the Dukes of Grafton 12 I bequeath to my Cousins the Misses Ma.or Cara and Leo Munroe of 7 Grove Court Drayton Gardens London S.W. the oil painting in my living room of Stuart C. Munro of Teaninick also the framed photographs of General and Mrs Munro of Tearirich hanging next to the aforesaid Oil Painting and the pencil sketch of their two sons 13 I bequeath to Miss Les Piddington of Holy Well Hookheath Woking the little amethyst and pearl brooch which does not belong to Miss Sams Set 14 I bequeath to my dear Friend Miss Mary Sams of Paulerspury House Towcester my Amethyst Set 15 I bequeath to Miss Eleanor Duguid of Manar Inverarie Aberdeenshire N.B. my pearl necklace and locket 16 I bequeath to Miss Laura Fitzroy of 23 Rosary Gardens London S.W. the small gold chain bracelet marked 'Maria' which belonged to Lady Maria Fitzroy 18 I bequeath to Mrs Bona Sheldrake of Holly House Needham Harlestone Norfolk the sum of Ten pounds 19 I bequeath to Norman Fitzroy Chambers of Glebe Cottage Poynings Sussex the sum of Ten pounds 20 I bequeath to the Reverend Asher Goldberg of The Parsonage Yardley Gobion the sum of ten pounds 21 I bequeath Miss Mary Armstrong of Port Dalhonsie Ontario Canada the sum of Ten pounds 22 I bequeath to my Godchild Jennie Peters Box 187 Port Dalhonsie Ontario Canada the sum of ten pounds 23 I bequeath to Miss Bona Fowler of Teanivich Alness N.B. the sum of Ten pounds 24 I bequeath to the Honourable Katherine Dillon of Brooklands Leamington the large print in my bedroom of my Father The Honourable Colonel Spencer 25 I bequeath to the Honourable Louisa Dillon of Brooklands Leamington my two large books of paintings 26 I bequeath to Ethel Giles if she shall be in my service at the time of my decease the sum of Ten pounds 27 I bequeath to Susan Brown provided she shall be in my service at the time of my decease all my wearing apparel (except my best sealskin Coat and my astrakan leapl and the sum of Forty pounds 28 I bequeath to Mrs James Brown of Yardley Gobion my long astrakan black cape 29 I bequeath to Mark Brown of Yardley Gobion the sum of Ten pounds 30 I bequeath to the branch of Yardley Gobion of the Peterborough Diocese Mothers Union in connection with the Mothers meeting there the sum of ten pounds to be divided amongst the mothers who may at my decease be Members of the Yardley Branch of each Union and meeting And I declare that the Receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of the Yardley Gobion Branch of such Union shall be a sufficient discharge for the same 31 I bequeath to Gerald Weston of The Elms Yardley Gobion the sum of Five pounds 32 I bequeath to my Niece Phyllis Munro Spencer all my watches jewellery trinkets and personal ornaments other than and except what are herein before disposed of 33 I bequeath to Helen Spencer Wife of my late Brother John Winston Thomas Spencer such of the remainder of my pictures and my furniture as she shall select 34 I declare that all the legacies given by this my Will shall be paid delivered or retained free of duty 35 I devise and bequeath all the residue of my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever not hereby otherwise disposed of and all my real estate of every tenure and wherever (including my share of property in Ceylon) of or to which I shall be possessed or entitled at the time of my death or over which I may have a power of appointment or disposition by Will subject to and after payment of my funeral and Testamentary expenses and debts and the duty on such legacies unto and to the use of my Nephew the said Almerie Munro Spencer and my Niece the said Phyllis Munro Spencer their heirs executors and administrators and assigns receptively for their absolute benefit in equal shares 36 In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this seventh day of September One thousand nine hundred and seventeen
