Blunt Ann 1897

This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Blunt of Grafton Regis in the County of Northampton Widow I appoint John William Jelley of Alderton in the same County Carrier Executor of this Will and I bequeath to him the sum of Two pounds two shillings as an acknowledgement for the trouble he will have in the execution 0f the trusts of this my Will I bequeath to my niece Alice Thirza Jelley wife of William Jelley Gardener and who now lives with me my household furniture and effects and also two of my share in the Northamptonshire Union Bank Limited I bequeath two other of such shares to my sister Maria Collins One other to her daughter Ann Adams and two others to each of the two nieces of my late husband namely Charlotte Catherine Sibley and Sarah Smith And as to any other shares and such other personal estate as may belong to me at my decease I bequeath the same (after payment of debts and funeral and testamentary expenses) unto and equally between my nephews and nieces namely John Collins John Percy Shipp Francis Wells Shipp George Shipp Elizabeth Mackness Emily Smith and Annie Rubbra and the nephews and nieces of my late husband namely Samuel Smith William Smith and Eliza Burgess And in case any nephew or niece of mine or of my late husband herein named shall happen to die in my lifetime leaving a child or children who shall survive me and have attained or afterwards live to attain the age of twenty one years such child or children shall take in equal shares of more than one the legacy or share of residue to which his her or their deceased parent would have been entitled I revoke all former Wills In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand this twentieth day of May One thousand eight hundred and ninety two
