As an aid to family historians, Wills have been dealt with in two ways - listings and transcriptions. Listings are details of persons from each village for whom records are held either at the National Archive (formerly The Public Record Office) or at Northants Record Office. Listings record details such as names and dates. For a number of villages, transcriptions have been done of wills, oaths, admons and inventories, and these can be read by clicking on the appropriate link in the listings. For some villages there are just a few transcriptions, for others there is a considerable number.
